The Red Dress is a symbol of the American Heart Association and Go Red for Women. It is used throughout the United States to raise awareness of heart disease in women and raise funds in support of reducing its devastating effects on women. Heart City Bull Bash, Inc. decided in 2014 to have a red dress event. What better place or time to host a red dress event than the Heart City on Valentine's Day?
In 2015, it's important again to donate at our retailers. Cherry County Hospital will receive 80% of the funds raised with those funds designated for heart rehabilitation, monitoring and education. Bryan Health receives 10% of the fundenters raised. Bryan Health provides cardiac services regularly to our community, their doctors come to our community to monitor patients on site and provide clinical evaluations. The American Heart Association will receive 10% of the funds raised.
You can make a difference in women's health in our community. Stop at your local retailers, Henderson's IGA, Old Mill Bulk Foods, Scotty's Ranchland and Shopko to check out with a lean beef item, and make a red dress donation. Help Heart City Bull Bash Goes Red For Women raise funds to provide awareness of heart health and to provide valued contributions to the development of cardiac services at our local hospital. Then come and celebrate with us Friday, February 13, 2015. We will conclude our Heart Health campaign with dinner and entertainment by Dueling Pianos, 176 Keys Fun Pianos. And as always - red attire admired, but not required.
